We ran all over the lobby after the show taking pictures. I guess because we were all in black (not on purpose), people thought we were Rockettes.... and took pictures of their children with us. We didn't stop them.

Iconic
Paloma, Sam, and I went to see the Rockettes on Friday! I now officially want to be one. Like I'm going to the audition in the spring. We wandered around Rockefeller Center afterwards and looked at lights and we all got very, very excited for Christmas.

Easy Does It
One of my favorite foods in the entire world is Chinese fried rice. You know exactly what I'm talking about. I particularly like mine soaked in soy sauce. It is just really nutritious.
The other night, I attempted a healthy version! And it wasn't a failure! Best part, it was basically idiot proof, involved no measuring, and was cheap.
Ingredients:
-2 Eggs
-1 packet Uncle Bens Ready Rice (I used the multi grain), but any brown rice will do
-a handful of frozen broccoli
-soy sauce
Instructions:
1) heat a little butter or olive oil in skillet on medium heat
2) spread handful of frozen broccoli around the pan
3) cook it almost all the way, turning occasionally (this will take a bit since it's frozen. I usually use this time to attempt to tame the vicious pile of dishes in my sink)
4) Add your rice, if it's pre- cooked (ala Uncle Ben's) just stir it around and warm it, if it's frozen, cook it most of the way through
5) crack eggs on top of everything
6) stir and flip while ignoring how weird it looks in the uncooked egg stage
7) once the consistency is no longer a gooey mess and pieces of egg are white and yellow, you're done!
8) give a generous pour of soy sauce if you have a sodium problem like me
You could easily add anything to this, chicken, tofu, carrots, sprouts, whatever. This is just what I had in my freezer.
Best served hot with a healthy dose of J. Law.

Whadya Say?
If you're on Facebook, you've witnessed the phenomenon that is What Would I Say?
Some people (like Evan), think it's stupid.
I obviously think it's freaking hilarious.
Happy Friday!

Easy Does It
I am a complete clothes hoarder. I am very aware of it and I embrace it. But it can prove problematic when living in a tiny space like a dorm room. My solution: embrace belongings as a part of decor. The more my room feels like a boutique, the better. I really went for it as I brought out my fall and winter wardrobe.
My favorite J. Crew cape earns the top spot on my garment rack.
Stacks of denim and sweaters provide easy outfit options. I'm particularly excited for a pair of maroon waxed J. Brands I picked up on sale over the summer.
Folding and stacking by color is an incredibly simple way to give a dorm room closet a storefront feel.
I was also having a massive problem with my desk. All of my makeup was shoved into a drawer and there were no good places for my pens, pencils, and hair things to live. I picked up some great acrylic drawers at Muji, threw my prettiest make up on top, my brushes in a mason jar, and in twenty minutes had a much more organized, clean, and aesthetically pleasing desktop.
The best part? This mini room revamp cost me $25 (for the drawers). Everything else was just getting creative with what I have. If you don't have a garment rack, stick a nail in the wall and hang your prettiest dress or jacket from a nice hanger on it. Instant wall art. No excuses for ugly dorm rooms.
